Solution for improving immigrant health literacy
This project aims to tackle some of these issues in accessing and understanding health information with an IT-based solution. The target group are the most vulnerable immigrant groups, and especially children within them: those with e.g. refugee or asylum-seeking backgrounds. Admittedly, the chosen target groups prove more challenge for the creation of an IT-based solution, as the lack of resources and knowledge or poor digital literacy are likely prevalent among the same groups that most experience poor health, lack of access to health care or insufficient health literacy.
